The exhibition is made up of 503 photographs by 273 artists, from 68 countries en was meant as a manifesto for peace and the fundamental equality of mankind. Images by artists such as Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Dorothea Lange, Robert Doisneau, August Sander, Ansel Adams, ... are staged in a modernist and spectacular manner.
Since 1994 the exhibiton is permanently housed at the Castle of Clervaux and it is registered as a UNESCO Memory of the World heritage since 2003.
